25-words-or-less movie review: ‘The Wolf Man’

I could watch Hopkins & Weaving read the phonebook.

Not completely convinced by Benicio.

Is to decapitations what ‘Daybreakers’ was to exploding bodies.

Not bad.

  1. Righteous Schimmelbusch Says:

Were you a limbo dancing champion in a previous life?. Because only someone who could bend over backwards could get under the low bar that that movie set for ‘entertainment’.

Hopkins is so hammy he should have been lathered in butter, slapped between two pieces of wholemeal, wrapped in gladwrap and served up at the ABC canteen – as the canteen workers lunch.

How can a film-maker profess such admiration for the original, spend $80m more, and still turn out something half as good, and more criminally, un-scary.

The Wolfman, I hereby sentence you, for the crimes against special effects, to go away.

    Boo!

    See, that was scarier.
